About Cynthia

Cynthia Banua is a mixed media artist based in Florida, whose work is inspired by the saturated colors, dynamic energy, and relaxed elegance of tropical living. 

Throughout her life, Cynthia has been obsessed with art and chose to focus her studies on Art History. She later earned a secondary degree in Interior Design and honed her eye for composition, color, and texture. After many years of creating art as a hobby, Cynthia transitioned into professional art practice in 2023. She uses a variety of mediums including acrylics, oil pastels, colored pencils, watercolor, and ink to create vibrant compositions filled with joie de vivre.

At the heart of her work are bold women and the lush natural world that surrounds her. Through her art, Cynthia invites you to experience the world as she sees it—full of color, light, and vibrancy.
